On Friday, May 15, 2026, the Eagles gathered for their Hollywood Festival. This dance included all grade levels and allowed the kids to come together and have some fun. The ticket was only $5 and required a parent’s signature for entry. The fun lasted from 3:15 to 4:30. Our Hollywood dance featured a wide variety of decorations that were hand-made by ASB members. Some special decorations included over 6 full-sized cartoon characters, stars for everyone at the dance with their name, a human-sized popcorn bucket, and a beautiful handmade “Now showing” sign. The $5 ticket also includes a bag of popcorn, a candy bag, unlimited photo booth, a movie, a DJ, and board and lawn games. Hollywood was spread all across the campus through the MPR, Mini gym, and Quad.

This year’s festival had a little for everyone, whether you wanted to relax and watch a movie, dance on the dance floor, or take pictures with your friends. It was also a nice place for students to unplug and meet others. Here is what some of our fellow Eagels said about this festival. 

The dance was really fun! I liked how you could do song requests and that there was a Photo Booth!

In all, the Hollywood festival was a very successful event that allowed kids to have fun away from schoolwork and relax with their friends. Make sure to purchase tickets for our next McAuliffe dance so you don’t miss out on all the fun!
