This week’s staff of the week is Mrs. Olmstead! Mrs. Olmstead has shown great dedication to being McAuliffe’s school counselor and helping our school’s community throughout the year. Growing up, Mrs. Olmstead was raised in Rossmoor and went to St. Joseph Elementary/Middle School, Los Alamitos High School and the University of Redlands. Some hobbies of hers are reading, exercising, shopping, hanging with family and friends, soccer and watching Netflix. Two fun facts about Mrs. Olmstead are that she lived in Salzburg, Austria for six months during college and uses her maiden name at McAuliffe. Yara Saadeh, a 7th grader at McAuliffe stated, “Mrs. Olmstead deserved staff of the week this week without a doubt! She is kind and very thoughtful. She always checks in with the students and makes sure everyone is having a great day!” Looking back at 2020, McAuliffe’s staff was greatly appreciated and Mrs. Olmstead is just many of the staff the will be recognized for the staff of the week.
