People all around the world eat lots of fast food. According to Philadelphia.cbslocal, “About 85 million Americans eat fast food on any given day.” Subway, McDonalds, and Starbucks are the three largest fast-food restaurant chains in the world.

Subway is an American fast-food restaurant that is most known for its subs and salads. It is the world’s largest fast-food restaurant chain with 42,998 restaurants in 112 countries and territories. Next, McDonalds is an American hamburger fast food restaurant. It is the second-largest food chain in the world and sells mostly hamburgers, chicken products, milkshakes, and a variety of breakfast items, desserts, and soft drinks. Lastly, Starbucks is an American coffee fast food restaurant. They serve expressos, whole-bean coffee, fresh juices, cafe latte, tea, frappuccinos, pastries, sandwiches, and more.

According to Ryan Armenta, a seventh grader at McAuliffe Middle School, “Chick-Fil-A is my favorite fast food restaurant and I would rate it a 9.8 out of 10.” Next, he added, “In-N-Out would be my next preferred fast-food eating house. It would be a 9 out of 10.” Finally, he stated, “Taco Bell would be an 8 out of 10.”

Furthermore, Gianmarco Mendoza, also a seventh grader at McAuliffe, implied that his favorite fast food eatery is In-N-Out. He responded that it would be estimated a 10 out of 10, and then Chipotle would be a 9 out of 10. Finally, Mendoza stated that Subway would be rated an 8 out of 10.

According to deeprootsathome.com, in 2019, 25 fast food companies were graded based on their meat quality. Panera and Chipotle were rated an “A,” while Subway and Chick-Fil-A received a “B.” McDonald’s was given a “C+” and Wendy’s a “C.” Additionally, Taco Bell was rated a “C-,” Pizza Hut was a “D+,” and Papa John’s was rated a “D-.” Other fast food restaurants such as Starbucks, KFC, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Burger King were all rated “F” for their meat quality.

To sum it up, people love to eat fast food around the world, especially Subway, Starbucks, and McDonald’s. They have become part of our daily lives and an enjoyment to many, but based on these ratings consumers might think twice now before eating McDonald’s double cheeseburgers, and other beloved snacks.
