Mrs. Jennifer LeTourneau is a dedicated seventh and eighth-grade reading and language arts teacher, known for her enthusiasm, encouragement, and strong work ethic. She attended the University of Colorado Boulder, where she majored in English. After earning her degree, Mrs. LeTourneau began her teaching career in Palos Verdes, where she taught for several years. She then took a break from the classroom to focus on raising her children as a stay-at-home mom. As she raised her kids, Mrs. LeTourneau was actively involved in her kids’ lives. She was the room mom for their classes and was on their school’s PTA. Eventually, Mrs. LeTourneau decided to return to teaching and began working as a substitute teacher before landing her job at McAuliffe.
Outside of the classroom, Mrs. LeTourneau enjoys spending time with her family. She is married and has three children. Her youngest, Harrison, is 19 years old and studying computer engineering at the University of Utah. Her daughter Rachael is 22 and recently landed her first big job as a kindergarten teacher in Arizona. Additionally, her 25-year-old daughter lives in San Francisco and works as a marketer for Benefit Cosmetics. Mr. LeTourneau is an aerospace engineer and program director at Boeing. As shown, Mrs. LeTourneau prioritizes both the well-being of her students and her family.

Mrs. LeTourneau decided to become a middle school teacher because she believes middle school is a crucial time when we become independent after elementary school and prepare for high school.
