On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the OC Food Bank gathered members, one of the members being Gillian Willis, a member of ASB here at McAuliffe, to help pack food so everyone has something to eat. This annual event helps people of all ages young and old to benefit the community by helping others not go hungry.
Gregory C. Scott, the president and CEO of Community Action Partnership of orange County, exclaimed that it feels humbling and good to honor Martin Luther King Jr. and his legacy by helping pack food for people in need: “Each year, we’re humbled and grateful to see hundreds of volunteers at the OC Food bank to help with our annual food packing event honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his legacy.”
