Q: What do you enjoy most about working at McAuliffe?

A:  I enjoy working with the McAuliffe staff; what a wonderful team! I have felt very welcomed. My job in the McAuliffe health office is great because I love helping students.

Q: Who or what inspired you to work at McAuliffe?

A: I have worked for Los Alamitos Unified District for 32 years and 30 years of that time has been in the health office at the high school. This year I am dividing my day between the high school and McAuliffe in both health offices.  It has been awesome.

Q: What is your favorite book genre to read?

A: I cannot think of one book; I do like a good mystery when I have time!

Q:  If you were not doing the job you did, what would you want to be and why?

A: I always have thought it would have been interesting to do detective-type work; [it] just sounds fascinating.

Q: Do you have someone you look up to? If so, who?

A: My mother.  She is no longer here but I will forever be inspired by her kind and generous heart.  I considered her my best friend.

Q: It would be interesting to meet any of the early settlers who risked their lives to come to America and hear their stories.
