Q: What do you enjoy most about working at McAuliffe?

A: I enjoy EVERYTHING about [McAuliffe]! I feel very lucky to be a teacher here, and I think the students are pretty awesome too.

Q: Who or what inspired you to become a Core teacher?

A: My 8th grade English teacher is the one who inspired my love for reading. She always told me I’d become an English teacher one day.

Q: What is your favorite book genre to read?

A: I love any science fiction novel; especially anything by Ray Bradbury.

Q: If you were not doing the job you did, what would you want to be and why?

A: If I wasn’t an English teacher, I’d probably be doing something with animals, but [I’m] not sure what specifically.

Q: Do you have someone you look up to? If so, who?

A: I really look up to Mrs. Acuna, Mrs. LeTourneau, and Ms. Petrick.

Q: If you could meet any famous person or person from history, who would it be and why?

A: I would love to meet Malala & Elie Wiesel. Their story of overcoming horrific events and using it to teach and inspire others is so beautiful.
